In 2023, Dutch Housing Company in collaboration with Giesbers Bouwen en Ontwikkelen came 2nd in the Municipality of Haarlemmermeer's tender for the Market Building Nieuw Vennep. With a stylish design by our architect Svetla Stefanova from Amsterdam and in collaboration with a strong team, we are proud of our submission.
Our design for the Market Building is a freestanding building with an iconic appearance that stands out and at the same time blends into its surroundings. The building responds to the different characters of the adjacent public spaces, but nevertheless manifests itself as one all-sided and special volume. A multifunctional building with a library, catering facilities, public bicycle storage and flats for the elderly in the affordable segment.
An iconic building with a strong focus on circularity and bio-based construction. Our design is a nature-inclusive and green building with various climate adaptive measures.
